31 दिसंबर से पुराने 500 और 1000 रुपए के नोट रखने पर देना होगा 10 हजार का जुर्माना

नई दिल्ली। नोटबंदी के फैसले की मियाद 30 दिसंबर को खत्म हो रही है, इसके बाद 500 और 1000 रुपए के पुराने नोट रखने की कम से कम सजा 10 हजार रुपए तक की होगी। इसके लिए केंद्र सरकार अध्यादेश भी लाने जा रही है, जिसे स्वीकृति के लिए राष्ट्रपति को भेजा जाएगा। पुराने नोट रखने वालों को जेल की सजा का प्रावधान नहीं किया गया, लेकिन कम से कम 10 हजार रुपए का जुर्माना देना पड़ेगा।

अधिकतम 10 नोट तक की छूट नए अध्यादेश के अनुसार 500 और 1000 रुपए के पुराने नोट से लेन देन प्रतिबंधित होगी, इसके साथ ही सिर्फ 10 नोट तक की ही छूट होगी। केंद्र सरकार जो नया अध्यादेश लेकर आई है उसका नाम है द स्पेसिफाईड बैंक नोट्स सीजेशन ऑफ लाइबिलिटीस ऑर्डिनेंस, जिसे कैबिनेट ने अपनी मंजूरी दे दी है। 30 दिसंबर के बाद पुराने नोट सिर्फ रिजर्व बैंक में ही जमा होंगे। हालांकि पुराने नोट रखने वालों को जेल नहीं होगी लेकिन उन्हें 10 हजार रुपए का कम से कम जुर्माना देना होगा। पुराने नोटों को रिजर्व बैंक में बदलने के लिए 31 जनवरी तक का समय दिया गया है, लेकिन इसके लिए आपको वाजिब वजह बतानी होगी। 8 नवंबर को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 500 और 1000 रुपए के पुराने नोट को बंद करने का ऐलान किया था, जिसके बाद लोगों को इन नोटों को बदलने के लिए 30 दिसंबर तक का समय दिया गया था। आपको बता दें कि 86 फीसदी नोट 500 और 1000 रुपए के हैं, ऐसे में इन नोटों के बंद किए जाने से लोगों काफी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड़ा था। लेकिन 30 दिसंबर से पुराने नोट को बदलने की मियाद खत्म होने के बाद इसे रखना अपराध होगा। इसके लिए केंद्र सरकार अध्यादेश लाने जा रही है।

आपको बता दें कि नोटबंदी के फैसले के बाद इसका विरोध करने वालों को वित्तमंत्री अरुण जेटली ने जवाब देते हुए कहा कि 19 दिसंबर तक डायरेक्ट टैक्स में 14.4 फीसदी की बढ़ोत्तरी हुई है, जबकि इंडायरेक्ट टैक्स में 26.2 फीसदी, केंद्रीय उत्पाद शुल्क में 43.3 फीसदी, कस्टम में 6 फीसदी, म्युचुअल में 11 फीसदी, की बढ़ोत्तरी दर्ज की गई है। इसके अलावा कृषि क्षेत्र में बढ़ोत्तरी दर्ज की गई है, पिछले वर्ष की तुलना में रबी की फसल में 6.3 फीसदी की बढ़ोत्तरी हुई है। यही नहीं लाइफ इंश्योरेंस, पेट्रोलियम की खपत में भी बढ़ोत्तरी हुई है, इसके साथ ही पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा मिला है।
